Bus pick-up and drop-off times are approximate. Route times are affected by changes in traffic patterns and ridership. All bus schedules are subject to change during the school year.
Please check your student's bus route weekly for updates.

A School Bus Tracking App for Parents
Atlanta Public Schools uses Here Comes the Bus to give students and families the most current information about their bus route.
Tracking Features
- Shows the real-time location of your child’s bus on a map
- Gives scheduled and actual arrival times at home and school for bus routes
- Provides push and email notifications when the bus is near
Sign Up Instructions for Parents:
- Download Here Comes the Bus app or visit herecomesthebus.com
- Click the “Sign Up” button
- Enter school code 87794 and click “Next” followed by “Confirm”
- Complete the “User Profile” box
- Under “My Students,” click “Add.” Enter your child’s last name and student ID number
- Once you confirm your information, you’re ready to begin
Routing Updates
Important Information for Parents:

All bus route changes will be updated and posted on the APS Transportation website.

New or modified bus routes will become effective 3–5 days after they are finalized.

Updated general education stop/route changes will be shared with school principals by the Transportation Department.

Parents of Exceptional Education students will be contacted directly by APS Transportation to confirm transportation details once a route has been assigned.

Newly enrolled students should expect a 3–5 day waiting period before transportation service is assigned and begins if an existing stop is not available. If an existing stop cannot be found via WebQuery, please contact transportation.
